Arthur Kostner

05 March - 10 April 1993

The Museum Gallery presents Arthur Kostner's new works. He turns once again to his customary material, wood, crafted here into geometric forms which are only intuitively precise: circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, slats with innumerable little cross-pieces, rows of colorful, meshing rectangles, and so forth. The material quality of the relatively rough wood, as well as the departures from strict geometries, fill the work with a sense of organic tension.
